It's one of those days again
Where I sit at my desk
With pen and paper in front of me
Listening to the rain fall outside
My window is the television that entertains me
I don't really go out anymore
There's just no one to see
Or at least no one that wants to see me
So I take comfort in the solitude
This ambiance is seemingly soothing
I will just take a deep breath
And enjoy what I still have left
Because before I know it, it will all be over anyway.
